Bach is back!

Bach is back!

Though it’s been a year or more since Chris Bach last raced an OMA National, he started his career in this series and when an otherwise open weekend appeared in his schedule on 12 June 2011, he van-pooled with racing buddy Adam Bonneur up to Mesick, Michigan, for round five of the series. Despite lack of recent practice on the tighter trails that the OMAs are infamous for, CB5 acquitted himself well and hounded eventual winner Paul Whibley for most of the race. New kid on the block

New kid on the block

After a frustrating first half of the year, Idaho’s David Kamo and the Zip-Ty Racing Husqvarna squad mutually agreed to part ways. Within two days, Johnny Campbell Racing Honda signed him on to step into the huge shoes of the late Jeff “Ox” Kargola as partner to Colton Udall on the JCR Honda “B” team. He made his official debut a few weeks later in the Baja 500 and made it a memorable one, putting in a drama-free ride as assigned and ending up second overall to the “A” team of Quinn Cody and Kendall Norman.

Andale, Ivan!

Andale, Ivan!

Ivan Ramirez is undoubtedly the fastest young off-road racer in Mexico today. Not only does he compete in Mexico’s national enduro championship series for that country’s KTM importer, but the Red Bull athlete also shines at the other end of the spectrum in the higher-speed Baja races.
